Mermaid Nails with Vinyls from SheSellsSeaShells

Hello there. This post has been a while coming, I actually did the design a few weeks ago, but for some reason I just haven't found the time to post it. So here goes. I bought the vinyls from SheSellsSeaShells a UK nail art supply store.

Retro Ubermat Decal

So today will mark my first tutorial using the Ubermat as a way to make decals. I loved making these decals, yes it is time consuming but I do think it is worth it. The design you have the potential to make are so intricate and detailed it just looks so great.

This design took a lot of time, not only because I chose to use so many colours but I also chose to do it on every nail. Talk about a big workload.

Today's tutorial will be a little spare, I realised I did not take the photos I needed to when creating the design, so a few steps are missing. Hopefully I can talk through them, or point you to a post that does talk through them better. Here is this week's design, all week I've been playing a little fishing game and sort of dedicated my nails to that.

I realise this post is a little late and the only reason I can come up with is the weather. It has been so miserable lately that I think it has sapped up all my energy. I did my nails at the right time I just haven't written up this post. But now the time has come for that post to be revealed! For today it's a simple vinyl tutorial with some lovely vinyls I bought from SheSellSeaShells. HPB Presents: First Gradient Attempt with the UberMat!

So recently I found a web store that stocks the UberMat in the UK! I was so pleased that I wouldn't have to pay almost what the mat itself costs for shipping that I bought it pretty much immediately. So today is my first play about with it and with the Hobby Polish Bloggers January Link up being gradients I decided to try and create a stamping decal including a gradient.

Burt's Bees Lemony Cuticle Butter Review

As the holidays approach you may have a friend that loves polish. One gift I could recommend is a good cuticle butter if they haven't already got one, if they have you can't have too much of a good thing!

Since using my first cuticle butter product I have definitely seen an improvement in my nail growth and strength as well as less hang nails.

Last time I reviewed Lush's Lemony Flutter cuticle butter, and this time it's Burt's Bees turn with their Lemony Butter. Lemon seems to be a common scent for cuticle butter/cream.
