OMD3: Day 3 - Princess Peach

So Thursday's theme for the OMD raffle contest was Peach and with that in mind I created a simple homage to princess peach.

I used two polishes and a gem to create the patterning of her dress.

Continue reading to find out how to create this design.

To begin with gather the bit that you need:
  • a light pink polish
  • a darker pink polish
  • light blue gems
  • a topcoat
Step 1 - paint your nails the lighter pink shade.

Let this dry for a little bit before attempting to do the next bit.

Step 2 - Paint two diagonal lines towards the centre of the free edge on each nail, with the darker shad of pink.

Don't worry about getting it on your skin just have a cotton bud or small nail art brush ready with some polish remover to clean up the access.

Step 3 - Now it's time to get the gem onto the nail, to do this I added a top coat and placed the gem into the wet polish. If your pink polish is still wet you can add it near the bottom of your nail, and apply a top coat after.

Hope you like this nail design.
